Melissa was born and raised in Cape May County. Her early years were spent working on the beaches in Cape May. She is a graduate of Wildwood Catholic high school and later she went to Towson University. She received her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish. For the last 15 years, she has been a Speech Language Pathologist. She helps both adults and children with communication and swallowing disorders. Her area of expertise is developing strategies for adults with cognitive communication disorders to maintain their independence.

She also is the co-owner of Stalker Fishing Charters with her husband, Captain Skip Jastremski, where she has gained business experience. Melissa enjoys all the aspects of tourism in Cape May County. She is knowledgeable about the events that are happening in Cape May and the Wildwood area. Her compassionate nature, attention to detail, competitiveness and verbal communication skills make working with her easy and enjoyable when looking for a rental or buying/selling your home.
