Amanda Kriebel, REALTOR®, has been adventuring in Cape May since before she was born. That’s right—her mom and dad met at Carney’s (then Sid’s), and her love of Cape May began with their love of this community. Growing up, one of her family’s favorite pastimes was going “real estating”—touring local open houses and scoping out the market wherever their travels took them.

Born in Chestnut Hill, PA, Amanda grew up in North Wales and attended Germantown Academy before earning degrees in Biology and Economics from Bucknell University. She spent weekends and summers in Cape May, working at local favorites and with her family’s businesses. Her parents began owning property here when Amanda was just three years old, making Cape May a constant throughout her life.

After college, Amanda headed west—first to Beaver Creek, Colorado, and then to coastal California, where she lived for more than 20 years. She purchased her first property in Encinitas, California, which she continues to own as a rental today. Through it all, Cape May remained home, and eventually Amanda returned to Cape May, now her full-time home.

Amanda also holds a master’s degree from California State University, Long Beach and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. 

Since 2010, she has owned a private physical therapy practice, working with everyone from professional surfers and snowboarders to weekend warriors. She has worked alongside sports medicine teams at World Surf League events, Red Bull events and the Winter X Games, and teaches Kinesiology and Yoga Teacher Training courses at MiraCosta College in California. Even before that she had a potpourri of professions—from selling Mary Kay and working at Goldman Sachs to a flower shop, Urban Outfitters, snowmaking and even operating a snowcat. 

That background may seem like an unexpected path to real estate, but to Amanda, the connection is natural — they require trust, thoughtful guidance and someone who truly listens. And her own experience maintaining roots and property on both coasts gives her a unique perspective when working with second-home buyers, investors and those considering making Cape May part of their lives.

Amanda brings a calm, confident and highly personal approach to every real estate relationship. Whether buying, selling, renting or investing, she believes her role is to help clients understand their options, feel secure in their decisions and make their move with intention.

When she’s not working, you’ll likely find Amanda surfing, snowboarding, biking around Cape May, or sharing one of her favorite local spots. She loves connecting with people and sharing the community that has been part of her history for a lifetime.
