Scott Murphy, Salesperson, or Bick as he is known here in South Jersey, has been a summer resident of the area since 1980. He's spent those summers working on the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol, leaving each fall to teach at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After 28 years of traveling the coast with the seasons, Bick decided to make Cape May his permanent home. Selling his log cabin retreat in Blue Ridge, GA brought nostalgia and emotion, but he has since happily settled in to Cape May life alongside his wife Cheryl, a nurse practitioner at Cape Regional Medical Center. Bick hopes to serve as an empathetic guide when his clients encounter their own emotions when buying and selling their homes, but also uses his experience as a dedicated endurance athlete to stay the course and persevere for positive results throughout the process.
